Birthday book for 7 year old Emmelia

It is always so hard to come up with a meaningful birthday present for my grandkids. But I was inspired this year to make a book for the first grader. Here is a picture of the cover. The book is made from coasters and bound with a Bind-it-all. The elephant's ears are three dimensional. The Empress's crown is glittery. An embellished evergreen... Escargot and empty egg shells... And an exciting electric eel! And look at the exotic eyelashes on the emu! And this is the back of the book. Hopefully, the love I have for this child shows in the thought and care that went into making this book for her.

Beautiful, Mom! I'm sure she'll love it. As an artist-at-heart herself (which I'm sure she inherited from you), she'll appreciate the thought and hard work that went into it.

I can definitely see and feel the love you have for her in this book. What a wonderful piece of artwork. I found you through Misty Mawn.
